Mary Ann Vinarcsik, 82, of Lorain, passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 2, 2018 in Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain.
She was born March 23, 1935 in Lorain to Joseph and Mary Vinarcsik (née Sipos). She graduated from Lorain High School class of 1953-A.
Mary Ann retired as a Bank Teller from Lorain National Bank coming to work from Central Trust Bank and previously the City Bank Co., Lorain. She had also worked at French Creek Self Storage in Avon.
Mary Ann was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Lorain. She was also a member of the Lorain City Democrat Women's Club, Lorain County Federation of Democrat Women, Lorain Professional Women Club, St. Lad's Club and was a member of the Croatian Women's Bowling League. Mary Ann was kindhearted and generous. She looked forward to meeting her friends daily for breakfast or lunch.
Mary Ann will be deeply missed by her nieces Melanie (Tim) Eilers of Naperville, IL. and Lynette M. Nuck of Wonder Lake, IL.; nephews Joseph P. Vinarcsik of Winamac Ind. And John O. Vinarcsik of Denver, Co. great nieces, Megan and Madeline Eilers, Emily (Craig) Planton, Lindsay Vinarcsik, her great nephews, Matthew Eilers, Charlie Nuck and Joseph H. Vinarcsik and cousins Robert and David (Lisa) Sharick.
Other than her parents Mary Ann was preceded in death by her brother Joseph E. Vinarcsik.
Her family will receive friends Friday, March 9, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, (440) 277-8164, where Parastas will be at 4 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Panachida will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home then Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 2711 West 40th Street, Lorain. Rev. Father Nicholas R. A. Rachford, J.C.L., Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
Her family suggest memorial contributions to St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 2711 West 40th Street., Lorain, Ohio 44053.

I had the pleasure to meet Mary Ann a few years ago through a a mutual friend; and first thing I noticed was her kind heart, happy-go-lucky spirit and friendliness. I'm extending my deepest condolences to her family & friends who loved her dearly. RIP my friend.

So sorry for your loss. I worked with Mary Ann at Lorain National at the Pearl Ave office. We had some good times, all the Pearl Girls.
