Mary Anne Barnes Obituary
Mary Anne Chambers Barnes, age 69, of Tellico Plains, passed away, Tuesday, October 7, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Faye Chambers.
Mary Anne was a woman of many talents with a passion for working in her flower beds, quilting, and traveling. She was very creative, always had an adventurous side and never met a stranger. If you saw Mary Anne out, her smile would definitely brighten your day. She loved her family dearly and she will be cherished and missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Barnes; daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Billy Williams; son and girlfriend, Matthew Barnes and Vanessa Graham; brothers and sisters-in-law, Allen and Debbie Chambers, Buck and Debbie Chambers, and Gary and Kathy Chambers; grandchildren, Dilyn and Gabe Williams, Ty Barnes and Xavier Graham; special aunt, Clara Willis; several cousins, nieces, nephews, and many many friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Myers Funeral Home. Celebration of life service will follow at 3:00 p.m., in the chapel with family friend, Chris Maney officiating.
