Brenda Gean Miller

Brenda Gean Miller, 72, of Tellico Plains, walked right into the garden of Heaven, Wednesday, November 6, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Mutt” Miller; parents, Elmer and Lois Millsaps Kirkland, sister and brothers-in-law, Gladith and Alvin Debety, and Eddie Hawthorne.

Brenda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She filled her days with laughter, her porch with plants, and her heart full of love for her grandchildren- her greatest joy. During her years as a cashier, she never met a stranger, touching every life with her kindness and warmth. Brenda will be deeply missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanie Miller and Ken Herndon, Jolene Miller and Jovan Jackson; grandchildren, Bryan Weil, Liam Smith, Christopher and Gracelyn Herndon, Jace Jackson; sisters and brother-in-law, Kathy and Ken Pugh, Judy Hawthorne, Cheryl Kirkland; brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Jen Kirkland; many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, special friends, family, and caregivers.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2025 at Myers Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Cody Debty officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 10, 2025 at Myers Funeral Home and will proceed to Miller’s Chapel Cemetery for the 12:00 noon committal service. Myers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
