Eli L. Miller, 80, of Kidron, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2025 with his family by his side.
He was born near Charm on May 13, 1945 to the late Levi C. and Clara M. (Miller) Miller and married Sarah Alice Miller on November 16, 1965 and she survives.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Marlene Kay and her husband Duane Miller of Apple Creek; grandchildren, Carrie and her husband Larry Shetler, Elaine and her husband Michael Miller, Michael Eli Miller, Heidi and her husband Logan Hershberger, Raymond Jay Miller and his wife Rhoda and Jonathon Duane Miller; great grandchildren, Samuel, Nigel, Violet, Valerie, Lileigh, Huntley, Legend and Hutchin; a sister, Verna and her husband Lester Miller; brothers and sisters-in-law, Clara L. (late Wayne J.) Miller, Ray J. and Marilyn Miller, Nettie J. (late Crist) Miller, Mary M. (late Wayne H.) Miller, John Emery Miller and Mary Hochstetler.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws, Joe J. and Fannie Miller; brothers, Cris L. Miller and Mahlon (Lizzie) Miller; infant brothers, Ben and Andy Miller; sisters, Anna (Ervin) Hershberger, Maryann (Andy) Erb, Amanda (David) Hershberger; a stillborn sister; and brothers-in-law, Wayne J. Miller, Joe Miller Jr. Crist Miller and Wayne H. Miller.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 9:00 am at the Aden James Miller residence, 8899 Zuercher Road, Apple Creek, OH 44606 with Bishop Ray J. Coblentz officiating. Burial will be in the Hershberger Cemetery. Friends may call after 2:00 pm on Monday and anytime in the afternoon on Tuesday at the Aden James Miller residence. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
The family would like to thank the staff of Ohio's Hospice LifeCare for their wonderful care and memorial contributions may be made to them.
