Donald Raymond West, 92, of Tellico Plains, TN went home to his Lord and Savior, Friday, October 3, 2025.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rollie and Tina West, grandsons, Jeremy Richard Hamilton and William Lucas West, great-great-grandson, Colter Guy Hamilton; and brothers and sisters.
Donald found happiness in the simple things in life. Bluegrass music, wagon rides with the grandkids, and cooking up a delicious Sunday morning breakfast for family and friends.
He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Prissy West, and Darrell West; daughters and son-in-law, Jan and James Queen; and Laura West, former wife and best friend, Arlene West; brother, Dale West; grandchildren and their families, Casey Miller, Scott West, Christopher West, Mitchell Hamilton, Amanda Wyrembelski, Rachel Jackson, Perry West, Kevin West, Laci Howard, and Justin Queen; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 6, 2025 at Myers Funeral Home. A Masonic service will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel. Nephew, Stan Hamby will close in prayer following the service. Family and friends will assemble Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Epperson Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service with nephew, Ronald West officiating.
