Mary Louise (Lopez) Arce went home to the Lord to be with her beloved Victor Arce Jr. on Sunday March 7th, 2021. She spent 76 wonderful years on earth making people smile and helping those in need. She was a force to be reckoned with but would give you the shirt off her back. She is preceded in death by her parents Josephine and Arturo Lopez Sr. Her brothers Horace and Arturo Jr. She was loved and will be missed by her children Josephine Capri Hughes (Mark), Lisa Michele Garcia (Joe), Mark Anthony Arce (Carrie), Jason Erik Arce (Jasmin), and Tiffany Marie Hughes (Edward) 14 Grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mary Lou (as she was known) served in the US Navy Reserves as she earned the rank Petty Officer Second Class, while completing 24 years of Civil Service as a Jet Engine Mechanic. She wore many hats in her life and was a master at most all of them. She was a hard worker and made sure she gave her all in everything she did, including loving and spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid music lover, and there wasn’t a moment that she couldn’t associate with a song. She enjoyed being active with her grandchildren at all their activities, it would be the highlight of her day to drive kiddos around. She loved to keep up with family and friends on Facebook, she was always sending an encouraging word or funny meme to make people smile.
Saying that she will be missed is an understatement.
