Not sure what to say?

Mary was a wonderful teacher and mentor for me. She motivated people and made clear what seemed so complex. God rest her soul.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends. I can only say that I have the fondest memories being in her chemistry classes. She was an inspiration to us all.

Mrs. Assmann will be missed and will always be in our memories.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Assman had a gentle but determined way of teaching difficult subjects to wild and difficult young boys. She was an incredibly gifted teacher and her family needs to know how wonderful an asset she was to the Pennington school-- especially to its students.

I was sorry to hear about Mrs Assman. As one of the first Pennington School girls I had her for homeroom, and Chemistry. Her knowledge of the subject helped me in College with Chemistry. She will be missed. Caroline Owen class of 1975.

Mrs. Assman was my chemistry teacher the first year I attended Pennington. That was 40 years ago. It's almost eery that I thought of her just three days ago. Something that I had learned in her class popped into my mind ---and there she was, lecturing about chemistry. The next day I get an email that she passed away.
Mrs. Assman was one of the best teachers I had at Pennington. She truly knew how to reach her students so that they understood chemistry. She will be missed but her spirit...

Mrs Assmann was my first teacher at Pennington (first period, first year), her kindness, warmth and love for teaching came at a time I needed it most. My condolences to her family. She was a wonderful person.

To the Assman family, Mrs. Assman was my chemistry teacher in 1969 and I graduated in 1970. She was a good friend as well as my teacher and even attended our 20th reunion with other classmates and faculty members. Our deepest condolences to the whole Assman family. Stan Lee - Class of 1970

A great teacher and a truly WONDERFUL person
who made a such a huge and life lasting impact on so many
students-and the community. Thank you for all the good
you did, from a student who you showed way more
tolerance and patience for than you ever had to.
