Mary BACK

Dave and I spent a lot of time together growing up in Waterford, Mi. Mr and Mrs Back made everyone feel welcome. So sorry to hear of her passing. My sympathy to here entire family.

Sweet, precious Mary Rose will be truly missed! She touched the lives and hearts of so many children and was such a blessing to all who knew her, young and old alike! I was an active volunteer mom of 3 children, spending many days at Normandy Elementary School and had lots of interaction with Mary Rose through the years. Her influence certainly rubbed off on my three children, who love nature activities. They have young children of their own now and frequently take them on hikes and go...

I have been thinking about you, Jodi, since I heard about the passing of your dear mom. I recall seeing her on several occasions and hearing such sweet and loving stories about her during our days working together at Southdale. My deepest condolences to you and your whole family. Losing a mom/grandma leaves such a void in our lives...may you find peace in so many happy memories. Hugs to you...Jean xo

I often sat in Fellowship Hall after a service at The Church at Woodmoor and chatted with Mary Rose. She always talked about her family and her years at the Nature Center. So much joy radiated from her and both her eyes and lips smiled so beautifully. What a superb life!

Mary Rose was just a remarkable person. She brought joy to everyone around her. For years we were members of the Builders (couples club) at David's Church along with Mary Rose and Warren and quite a few other couples. We had such good times! Beyond that we had Mystery Nights which she and Warren hosted at their home. More good times. We cherish the times we shared together and will hang on to those memories. Our sympathy and prayers go out to the entire Back family.

I am so saddened by this news. Mary Rose really taught me as an adult so much about nature. I volunteered many times over the years when my children visited Grant Nature for school. She was so kind, compassionate and loved the students. My condolences to her family.

So sorry to hear about Mary Rose. A great lady, wife, and Mother. Enjoyed working by her side at Grant nature center. I taught 4-5 grade at Normandy! Love & prayers!
