Read MoreI was good friends with Mary in law school. She tried to teach me bridge, but it just wasn´t happening. I was unaware of her passing, and am shocked that she is gone. She was very proud of her daughter. Tanya, please know that Mary was an awesome friend to me. I don´t know how we grew apart-just part of life, I guess.

I will not be able to attend the memorial service, but Mary and her family will be in my thoughts and prayers that day. She was always fun to work with. She was a good friend to me. Love you Mary. RIP.

I was saddened to read of Mary's passing today. I hadn't the pleasure of knowing Mary but we were related as descendants of Neil and Catherine Powell.
