MARY LELIA BATISTE

Mrs. Mary was a remarkable woman, she treated everyone just her own. Since I was a fixture at their home she always made me feel welcome and I felt like part of the family because of her. She is truly missed and on this day I remember her for being the kind and gentle woman that she was.

My deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother. I do understand how hard it is when you lose such a wonderful woman. My mother passed in April 17th of the same year. I miss this family and hope to hear from you all. Terry Murphy ([email protected])

I am so sorry to hear of Lelia's death. She hired me when I first came to Denver, giving me the opportunity to begin my career here at Child Opportunity Program. I will never forget her mentoring and encouraging me to grow in the field of early care and education. My heart is breaking.................
