Mary Beth Baxter

My heart is broken to hear that the world has lost Mary Beth. I never met her, but loved her the moment I laid eyes on one of her prints in a local folk art store (now gone) years ago. I have only two of her works, but they give me such joy; I decided tonight to look for her work online...please feel the love that I am sending from the other side of the country, and be happy that many, many more like me will continue to experience joy because of what Mary Beth has left us. We are in shock and so saddened to hear of Mary Beth's passing. We met Mary Beth years ago when our children were small and every Cape Cod vacation included a stop at the shop. We have countless works of Mary Beth's art throughout our house and we treasure them. She always called me "Joe's Ship" when she saw me come in.
