Mary Beaver

My condolences to the whole family. I hadn't seen Aunt Mary for many, many years, but I always remembered her- especially her smile. My dad, Jerry Beaver, kept in touch with his brother Kenny on a regular basis and would keep us up to date. Across the miles and years, still such a sad loss. From a distant cousin who you haven't seen in a long time, I wish you all love and peace.

Mary is such a tender and joyful soul and I really enjoyed getting to know her, but the highlight of our care was the love that was shared by both Ken and Mary. Witnessing and hearing the ways that Ken showed up for mary was so beautiful and will always stay with me. He truly is a gentleman. Thank you for trusting us with your care mary.

My mom ,Mary was a compassionate, loving mother. She put her children first and took care of others , running a day school going above & beyond for the children in her care . She opened her home to anyone who needed a warm place to stay & a meal . My mom was a fantastic cook. I loved waking up in the morning on a Sunday to homemade donuts or cinnamon twists. My mom was a pioneer. She was one of the first women coordinators up at OHSU. She walked the rainbow path for gays and lesbians...
