That was the essence of

Mary Ann Beck.

The slopes of Sun Valley, Idaho and the dude ranches of Jackson Hole, Wyoming were the places that were special to Mary Ann and where she spent some of her happiest times.

Skiing, river rafting, wine tasting, fine dining and a sparkling kir royale are fine examples of how Mary Ann celebrated life. Her love of life was ever present in her wide smile, infectious laugh and flamboyant, flashy couture!

Until close to the end, Mary Ann celebrated life with a positivity that enlightened all who knew her. In her career as a real estate agent, her enthusiastic and supportive demeanor helped many to realize their personal dreams of home ownership.

Perhaps the most compelling aspect of Mary Ann Beck was her ability to rise above adversity. Inflicted with debilitating rheumatoid arthritis from an early age, she rarely complained or let it adversely affect her life. She was a shining example of the philosophy, "Life is not about what happens to me, rather, life is about how I deal with what happens to me." Mary Ann dealt with life by choosing Joie de Vivre!

Mary Ann is survived by brother David (Anita) Frickey, nieces and nephews, and many close friends.
