Not sure what to say?

To Stephen and the family, Lou was a precious person to have as a friend ,she will be Missed. When GOD made her, he did a wonderful thing. Lou will forever be in my heart. May GOD continue to bless you all in his perfect way. Try to stay strong and remember one day we all will understand by and by. Lou, was a true friend. love, Ruthiemae

To the Heyward Family, I pray a comforting spirit upon you as you begin the healing process. Lou's memory will forever live within. Reflect on the love, laughter, and joy that she bought to the family and others. She was a beautiful spirited person and I thank God for her. Lou will be dearly missed.

Our hearts are heavy with sadness, but we know Lou is now in a better place. We will always remember Lou for the kind and giving person that she was. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Bell and Heyward families.

To Nez, even though you can't see your sister anymore, she will always live in your heart.
Sondra (BHHS Class of 1982)

My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead.

My condolences go out to the Heyward and Bell families in their time of sorrow. Lou was family to us and no visit back to my parents' home in the Pineland was complete without Lou coming by and giving the "news" and making us laugh. I still find it hard to believe that she is no longer with us. She was very kind-hearted and loved to help others whenever possible. Lou will be missed very much.

Belle

Lou is in a better place right now
Than she’s ever been before;
All pain is gone; she’s now at rest;
Nothing troubles her anymore.

It’s we who feel the burden of
Our sadness and our grief;.
We have to cry, to mourn our loss,
Before we get relief.

We know we’ll reconnect with her
At the end of each life’s road;
We’ll see her cherished face again
When we release our earthly load.

We can’t comprehend just how sad you must feel For the loss of someone you love.
This sorrowful time must still feel unreal And you’re looking for strength from above.

We hope, from my heart, that your pain will decrease, That your spirit will gain strength again, And we pray that your faith will create inner peace
And that God will send blessings your way. We will continue to keep you and your family in our prayers May God bless you...

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

To the Heyward Family,
Lou was truly and beautiful person with a kind spirit. May you find comfort in knowing that God is in control Praying much for all of you.
