Mary Bell Obituary

Mary Lou Bell CAROLINA BEACH, N.C. - Mary Lou Bell went home to be with the Lord on November 18, 2014, after a long battle with cancer. She was from Lexington, SC, and lived many years in Carolina Beach, NC, where she had many beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James S. Bell; her mother and father, Levi and Julia Whittle; a brother, Robert Whittle; and a sister, Alice. Mary Lou is survived by a daughter, Michelle Bell Miller and husband Steve; her son, Michael S. Bell and wife Linda; nine grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren and many, many beloved friends. The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014, with funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service with interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, both in Wilmington, N.C.
