Mary Beth, I remember meeting your mother once, when she was sitting with you in the front yard, watching the boys play. She had such a warm, welcoming smile on her face. After all the wonderful things you had told me about her, I felt honored when you introduced me to her that day. I hope you find peace at this time, and call upon the intercession of the other Mary, also in your front yard, watching over you every day.

I am so sorry to hear of Gramda Mary's passing. She was with me and my students in my second grade classroom for all of her 15 years at Smith Road Elementary School.
