I met Mary when I was 16, in Old Town, Through friends in 1977. 40 years. We have been thru a lot together. As a roommate lost donuts, a fire. Mary had a unconditional love for all her friends, but, mostly me. Mary taught me quality, not quantity. She gave all she could. And more. She was a part of my family, my mom and dad, and my brothers treated her like she was. She...

MARY BENSON WAS EFFECTIONALLY CALLED MB'S IN THE HOUSE EVERY MORNING. AND SHE LOVED PURPLE SO MUCH I WOULD SING PURPLE RAIN TO HER. WE'VE KNOWN EACH 18YRS FROM THE ER TO KIDS DOC. I MISS HER ALREADY. SUCH A WONDERFUL KIND SWEET PERSON. I'M GLAD I KNEW HER.

I met Mary in 1972 at Henrotin Hospital. We became fast friends and became roomates for about a year. We found each other again when she started working at Childrens Memorial Hospital. I will always remember her great sense of humor. Rest in peace dear friend.

We first met Mary when my husband and I worked at Henrotin Hospital. Foundest memory was the Christmas party at the Bismark in 1977 and Mary offer to get us drinks. Mary was very happy that we were together. Mary you will always be a part of our lifes and we will never forget you. Much Love,
