Miss Blanchard was a family friend(my daddy went to BEHS also and he and Miss Blanchard were there at the same time; my mother also taught with her at Moultrie Middle and they were good friends) I had the honor of her also being my teacher. There are so many stories from my middle school years. She had two cabinets that were several feet apart with a desk in between them. She used this area for unruly students or for someone who just needed a time out. She would open the doors of the cabinets...
