Mary Ann signed her senior high school picture to me with these words: " Bruce, I really enjoyed the good times we have had together. You are a very sweet, lovable person. May the best always be yours, and may our friendship continue forever". I wish that I had written such a wonderful sentiment to her. I did not know the years of pain she suffered.
