Mary Lee Borst

I remember Mary Lee from Hoffman grade school. She was a cute girl with an even cuter smile. She was always, always smiling! I always wondered what happened to Mary Lee when I would look at the school pictures.

I read about her plight a couple of years ago and hoped things would turn out differently.

If I have memories of Mary Lee after almost 40 years, I can only imagine the many lives she has touched over the years and the memories she left.

Marylee's kind and sweet voice
How the world was brighter when she laughed,
The sparkle in her eyes when she smiled,
What courage she showed as her body weakened
But MOSTLY
How much LOVE she gave her daughter, her family, her friends and me.

Til we meet at heaven's gate
I'm gonna miss you my most cherished and beloved friend...more than I can ever say here.
