Mary Ann was my colleague and friend for nearly 40 years. She had a vast store of knowledge & kindness & was generous with both. The world could use more of her, & more like her. Her favorite advice was "to take a walk." Booksellers, gardeners, colleagues & friends will miss her. May she rest in peace.
