Not sure what to say?

To The Family Of Mary Lee Bumpus:

I was sadden to hear about the passing of your mother. When we loose someone that we love, it seems like time just stands still. I don't know why some things happen, but I know that love and beautiful memories outlast the pain of grief. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Coming home from work and not seeing and speaking to Lee on her porch will not be the same. I am forever gratful for the words of encouragement that she gave to me...

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

May the Love of God sustain you and His perfect peace comfort you at this difficult time .Thinking of you and sharing in your sorrow with deepest sympathy. Major and Saundra Hunter, your cousins to James and Joyce Powell

Sorry to hear of Ms. Lee's passing. She was a beautifl person whom I enjoyed talking to throughout the year's while living on Oak Avenue. God has called her home and He make no mistakes. She's in a house not build by hands. May your family be blessed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Hi Lynette, Dana, Ms. Barb, and Mr. D., it's Jemal and I just wanted to extend my condolences to you guys on your lost. I didn't personally know Mrs. Bumpus but I do know how much you guys loved and adored her. May you guys find comfort and strenght in each other to make this lost less stressful on your hearts. GOD bless you all. Nette, I'm here if you need me okay. Love Jemal.

During my visits to the Hampton/Newport News area to visit Kevin, Lynnette, Nick and Devan, Mrs. Bumpus always made sure that I felt like a part of the family. She was always a great joy to visit with. I pray a special prayer for comfort for Barbara and all of the members of this family.

Mrs. Bumpus always had some interesting story to tell that was always colorful and sure to make you laugh. It was a joy having her as a patient to my practice. Sadly missed.

I can remember making numerous summer trips to Newport News from Connecticut to spend with "Grandma" as we all called her. She was such a sweet and loving, person who always told it like it was. She was very kind hearted and was such a joy to be around. She kept you laughing. I'm really going to miss her. I will keep the family in my prayers. May God bless each and every one of you.
