You have my deepest sympathy in the time of your lost

I remember the story she told me of a race she was in when her pants fell all the way down as she was running. She just kept on going thats just like her. I laugh every time I think of it. I am so glad I got to ride with her every morning. We will miss her bunches! She could ride so well and she had so much grit.

We remember Lucy as a young girl who loved to come to our house with our daughter, Michelle. Lucy was a special friend of Michelle's and both of the girls just loved horses. Lucy had such a funny wit and a happy personality.

To Lucy's family,
I am one of the trainers at Louisiana Downs that Lucy was riding for. I can not begin to describe the grief and heart break that we are feeling. We loved Lucy and will miss her very much.
Louisiana Downs and Chaplain Jimmy Sistrunk gave Lucy a beautiful memorial service just before the races began this past Sunday morning.

How tragic! I'm in shock and disbelief, and I can only hope that Lucy is reunited with her Mom Mary whom she loved and missed a whole lot.

I stayed in touch with Lucy, and we talked a good bit about horses, life, and her Mom. I can't believe that her life has been cut so short at such a young age. It's so very sad!
