Not sure what to say?

How we all love Mary Ellen! I will always remember her walking the streets of the neighborhood with her friends in the early mornings and waving to me as I would leave for school. Her warm "hello" started the day off right! She never missed the chance to express love and was everyones cheerleader - even when it involved boats in front of her house all summer long! Sending all our love to the great Caine family, her greatest work was in the children she and Tom raised together!

Mary Ellen was a bright gem in this remarkable Barnes/Caine family of gems. While Tom, my delightful med. school teacher, was practicing medicine, Mary Ellen was practicing goodness. Her devotion to his caretaking in his dwindling years was beyond admirable. After mourning their loss you will be free to rejoice in your good fortune to have been reared by such Christ-like people. God bless you to carry on their mission of making others' lives better.

I was so honored to have met Mrs. Caine when she visited Washington DC with Catherine and Marianne. I will never forget her beautiful smile and joy she had on her "girls trip" spending special time with her daughters. Sending much love to you all.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Warm Embrace Arrangement

Mary Ellen is the epitome of beauty, kindness, warmth, and grace. I'll miss how she lit up a room and made everyone feel special. She was always engaging and interested. We are lucky that she was in our lives. My condolences and sympathies to Mary Ellen's family. It's comforting to know that you'll carry on her legacy.
