Dear wife of Gary Carron. Loving mother of Jessi (Josh) Ems and Joshua (girlfriend Jessi) Carron, dedicated grandmother of Jacqueline and Jillian. Dear sister of Donnie DeForrest, Bill (Suzy) DeForrest, Patty DeForrest, Kevin (Kathryn) DeForrest, Matt DeForrest, Michael (Bob Dowling) DeForrest, Liz (Dave) Chrestman, Richard (Jennifer) Dunn and the late Margy (Richard) Dunn. Beloved daughter-in-law of Dorothy Carron. Dear sister-in-law of Michael (Cinda) Carron, Tori Horowitz and Bob (Kay) Carron. Loving aunt, cousin, friend and hairdresser to many.
Services: Memorial visitation at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. Interment private. Friends may sign the family?s on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.

To the Carron and Deforrest Families: My heart is full of sorrow for the loss of your Kay. I knew Kay when I was in my teen years. She was someone whom I looked up to, who made me laugh, and whom I admired. She was so much fun and I always felt safe and comfortable around her. She was a very loving person. She really did touch many lives as a hairdresser in many ways, I am sure of this. I pray that your saddness fades and is replaced with loving, beautiful memories of Kay.

I am so sad for you all! I know how much Kay loved her family. I will always remember her laugh and huge personality. She was such a kind person. She will be missed.

The Deforrests are a terrific family, and while I have known Bill for decades, I only met Kay once. The memory lasted. She impressed me with her sense of humor and love for her family. My heart and prayers go out to her family and all the Deforrests. Rest In Peace

Gary and Family
Kay has cut my hair every 4 weeks for 30 years.I was at the shop on Friday had a 4:30 appointment. we laugh and talked like aways.I am very sadden over her lose.I followed her at every shop she worked at. No one could cut my hair but Kay.
