Mary Lynn Carsky

I worked with Mary in the department for many years. She was a pioneer in consumer behavior and leveraged those interests into marketing research. She encouraged students to do real projects that made a contribution to the community. She will be missed.

Rest in peace our dear friend for 53 years. you will be in our hearts forever.

Mary was one of the nicest people I remember from the cat fancy. A kind and gracious lady. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

My sister did Mary`s hair for many years and Hairport and when she retired I took over at Salon 19 for many years. I´ll never forget the time on New Year´s Day when Mary took me to the Hartford club as a Christmas gift. I had such a nice time with her and many of her friends. Sadly I won´t be able to attend. I´m attending a funeral that very same day otherwise I would be there. She was a beautiful lady!

I knew Mary as a Professor at the University of Hartford and also as a member of the Town & County Club. There was not a more delightful, happy woman to be with. She always greeted me with a smile and she truly cared about others. She was engaging and welcoming. Just the memory of her brings me joy. I hope it does for you also.

I met Mary when she taught at the University of Hartford and we had the wonderful opportunity to share teaching duties in the former MBA program that UofH had in Paris nearly 30 years ago. She will be missed by all who knew her.
