To my Cashman Cousins,
I will always remember you and Aunt Mary Lou and our times when we were growing up in our high school and college years-when I was at U of I and came to see you whenever I was lonely for home...Aunt Mary Lou was my godmother and "other mom" in those days, and the entry I make today is for your peace and loving memories of the days we had together as a family. We will see each other soon and we need to keep closer-because our family is all that matters in the end. ...

To the Cashman family, my sincere condolences in the big loss of Mrs. Mary Lou. To Joan I know that this is a hard time for you, and all my prayers go to you and your family. I will never forget how nice of a person she was to me as well as your father. I will never forget hearing Frank Sinatra at her house, and how strong of a woman she was. Your mother meant so much to me. I know that she is in Heaven with your father, looking down at you and your family. Keep praying, God will give you the...

You are all in our hearts and prayers, all the way across the pond. J, T & HY

I remember the last time I talked to Mary Lou after Mike passed away and she had just gotten out of hospital. She told me she was going to go to Mike’s funeral and she was very determined to do so. God had other plans and now she and Mike are in Heaven and I can’t imagine what a wonderful reunion it was. I have so many fond memories of stories that Mike shared with me about Mary Lou, Gene and you girls. I will always cherish them in my heart. Thank you so much for all of your love and...

I know losing her is devastating but I am sure she is very happy with your Dad now.
My sister Joyce Leland ,my brother Austin T. Murphy, and I will be donating to St. JUde's in honor of your mother and your Uncle Mike. Our love and prayers go out to you...

Their is no loss like one's parents, so from my heart I can tell you how very sad I feel for you girls.
My memories of your beautiful mother I see reflected in all your faces. And I remember how lovely she was the day I was her flower girl all those years ago.
Now she is at home with your Dad and I am sure she is very happy again, even though we on earth (especially you her childrem) will grieve at your loss.
