Mary Chace

Mary (Young) Chace, 67 of Smokerise Circle, Swansea, died Thursday at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River.

She was the wife of Charles A. Chace, Sr.
Their 43rd wedding anniversary was June 4.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Stevenson) Young, she resided in Glasgow for many years before moving to Providence, RI, where she met Charles.

She has been a Swansea resident most of her life and was an avid card player.

mother of Charles A. Chace II, Robert J. Chace (wife Jill), William T. Chace (wife Marie), and Patricia E. Woods (husband Walter).

sister of Rena Blackwood, Flora Gilchrist, Hugh Young and the late Robert and John Young.

Her funeral service will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. in AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 S. Main St. Fall River.

Burial, Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne.

Visitation, Sunday, 5-8 p.m.
