MARY E. CHASE

Mary was the kindest person I´ve ever met. I miss her and think of her often.

Sweet Mary will live in memory as a brave, bright and beautiful soul. I am richer for knowing her.

I am so sorry for this loss. Mary was a wonderful co-worker when we both worked at William M. Mercer. We used to watch a peregrine falcon from the window of our office on the 35th floor of the Hancock. We named him "Perrie." A group of us kept in touch for years after we left the company. Mary and I also connected around our love of our nieces. I loved her wholehearted laugh, and we had so many laughs about her South End landlady. Mary was a docent with us at the Arnold Arboretum, and it was truly a pleasure to work with her over the last 12 years, see her enjoy the tours and landscape and come together with other volunteers for gatherings. She was consistently engaged and positive with an always generous spirit. I will miss her very much.
