Mary S. Chellman

To all the Chellmans,
My thoughts are with you on the passing of your mother, Mary. She had 91 years and wonderful children and grandchildren. And she welcomed a new little great-granddaughter named Mary, ten months ago! She must have been very proud. She is now in heaven at peace. You all did a great job in helping her to maintain her dignity and independence and surrounded by love and caring during her illness. May we all have the comfort of that.

Mrs. Chellman treated everyone w/ the utmost respect, and if you were near her, and forgot to say a hello, she said, "Sean, get over here!" Needless to say, we will all miss her!!

My thought and prayers are with you and your family on the loss of your mother. I did not realize your brother Kevin had passed away also. We were in Scouts together in West Roxbury.

Mrs Chellman led a long and productive life, God rest her soul. May all her children and grandchildren be comforted in this time of sorrow. In her life she displayed generosity and kindness and it is clear that she imparted these same qualities to her children.

I will always remember her beautiful smile and immaculate house. Her daughter Jayne was one of my favorite people in High School; just the other day we were talking about her Mom. You can rest now Ma Chellman.

To all my Chellman cousins, my dad thought his oldest sister Mary was just perfect. He loved her very much as do I. She is at peace with Uncle Bill, Billy Boy and Kevin, her sister and her brothers. Love to all, Karen

Mom Chellman was a marvel and I had the opportunity to tell her so several years ago. My mom didn't live with us for a few years in the early 1960's. During that time, every Friday afternoon, my sister, Louise, and I would come home from school, change into our play clothes, and walk to the Chellman's house to play in the school room in the attic on Montview St. While we were playing, Mrs. Chellman washed and ironed two uniform jumpers and 10 white shirts.
