Mary Chivers

To the Chivers Family: I was sadden to find out that Ms. Chivers had passed... I was her neighbor on Cloverdale Drive for over 20years. She was a great woman; I can remember her coming to my elementary school to have lunch with me when I was 7years old..she was truly a nice caring woman... I last saw her earlier this year when I stopped by the center to see her when I was in town visiting my family... Ms. Chivers may you rest in peace and your memory will live forever.

Mrs. Chivers was a very sweet lady and I enjoyed talking to her at Briarwood. I enjoyed bringing her a cup of brunswick stew from Harold's Barbecue. She always waved at me and called me "The Stew Man."
