Not sure what to say?

Your mother was a very special person. Her kind words and passion for doing good for others were her hallmark. I will truly miss her friendship. One of the high points when I visit Houston was a dinner with Dolly, Susie and your Mom. She spoke fondly of her children. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

To Judy, Greg, Gary, Michael and families - my sympathies on your loss. Remember all the good times, and the laughs, and then cry a little for your loss. It's ok to cry.

Aunt Mary was always there for us - generation to generation; extended family and close family.

When Tyler was 3 and decided to put a piece of dried macaroni up his nose, who does a parent call?... Aunt Mary of course. She was there to scold him about putting things where they did not belong, but...

Dear Family,
Can't express how much I will miss Aunt Mary, her smile and her sweet hugs. Wishing we could be there with you all at this time. Sending my love and prayers!

To the family,
What a wonderful person your mother was. She helped "raise" a lot of us at St. Lukes. She was a supervisor, friend, and counselor who always had a smile and a positive caring attitude. What a blessing to have known her.

Jo Ann Billings, Helotes, Texas

For so many years Mary was an active member in College Women's Club of Houston. She was a lady who gave so much of her graciousness and personality to all of us to enjoy, as well as her service to her Tuesday Bridge friends. We will all miss her.

Having known "Granny" for over five decades, I'll always remember that infectious and magical smile that generated so much love, warmth and kindness. She went through much pain and physical challenges during her final years. However, she never failed to smile and chuckle in the face of adversity.
She loved the Lord and trusted HIM with all her heart and God kept her until He called her home.
I'll miss you, "Sweet Granny".

Dear Michael, Gary and Judy: It is hard to find the words to express the feelings for your dear mother. Of all the people I have known, the best way to say of your Mom--is CARETAKER DELUXE--She has always been there for whatever help or advise and has helped me and our family in so many ways by just knowing that she was here for us in times of distress! She is now with Jesus, Mary and all her friends from the "chain gang" at SLEH. We who are still on this earth are so happy she is smiling...

There are no words that can adequately describe Mary Frances. She epitomized grace and beauty in all that she said and did. Her beautiful faith in God was evident in every way. She will be missed by all of us.

Mary was a long time member of the College Women's Club of Houston, and we will miss her smile and her company.
