Not sure what to say?

Mary took me under her wing when I came to Christ The King in 2000 and we kidded others about me being her grandson since we hung around each other before Mass every week. Her loss is as if I did lose a grandmother and I will miss her wit and caring way.

I learned of Mary's death at Mass this morning. I'm so sorry to have missed her funeral Mass on Friday.

She was a great inspiration, just in her being. Her mind was sharp, her words were kind, she was a great reader. Her faith deep and strong.

I met her at a book discussion group centered on faith and politics at Christ the King in 2006 and found a kindred spirit.

Please accept my sympathy for your great loss. She is heaven's great gain.

Mary was an amazing woman who made us laugh and always had interesting stories to tell. She will be missed.

Dear Tom, Kate, Ray, Elaine, Dan and Rob,

Regarding the passing of your mother, I offer my condolences. Although I didn't know Mary well, she left an impression on me. I've been thinking about her a lot this week.

I met your mom shortly before I married Ken--just over 20 years ago--and liked her right from the start. The first thing that endeared Mary to me was the regard and affection, mutually held, for Ken. That alone made her aces in my book, but then I noticed her...

Every Friday evening for ten years we played social music with Herman Classen's "Jack Street Fiddlers". As often as not we would play at Mary and Herman's Home. We'll always remember the great times we had there and all of the wonderful people we met throughout those years. We were delighted to see Mary at Helen and John Hakanson's home this past December for a reunion of the band. We will all miss her very much.

You are in our prayers.

I hope you get your fried clams in heaven Nanna.
Love you Nanna

Godspeed to our dear sweet Nana
