Mary Clowney

I can't tell you how missed Mary has been in my life since my mom passed in 2016. Having been unable to get in touch I checked here. Your mom was truly a wonderful woman. I am so sorry for your loss. My fondest memory was Mary and my mom giggling with a glass of red wine in my living rooms tearing up my carpet (unbeknownst to me).

There should be a book written about this remarkable woman! So colorful in so many ways, Mary was always fun to be around. I met Mary through her amazing daughter Melody and being in Mary´s presence was such a treat. She was an image of grace and kindness not to mention exotic good looks, great taste, style and really good company! I always looked forward to visits to Spoleto Festival because that meant I would not only be with Mel but her parents too. Going to the beach house provided...

Mary lived larger than life, appreciating the good that came into her life but with such a caring heart for others. She had a style no one could replicate not only in her decorating abilities but in the way she approached life. Mary was a real participant not a bystander. She made the effort because you were worth it. It wasn't all about her. My life was better because of her inspiration and friendship.
