Mary Jane Cochran

Mary Jane Cochran, 86, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away at 4:34 AM, Wednesday, February 25th, 2015 at University Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Mary Jane was born in Dearborn County, IN on February 12, 1929, a daughter of the late Corrine (James) and William E. Thompson. She was a homemaker and the widow of Frank E. Cochran, who passed away in 1978. Mary Jane liked to sew, especially cross-stitching and embroidery. She also enjoyed watching hummingbirds when they came to feed. Mary Jane is survived by two daughters, Corinne Hunter (Butch), of Rising Sun, IN; Violet Sanchez (Angel), of Crane, IN; by a son, Frank Cochran, Jr. (Frances), of Patriot, IN; by two sisters, Mary Rose Deaton, of Indianapolis, IN and Martha Jean Gullion, of Cincinnati, OH. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 PM, Saturday, February 28 at the Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN. Friends are invited to call Saturday 11AM-1PM at Markland Funeral Home. Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery in Aurora, IN.
