Not sure what to say?

May she rest in peace with our Lord in heaven. Miss Dwyer was my third grade teacher. We as students loved her. I remember she got married during the school year and changed her last name to Mrs. Colbert. We for a short time thought she didn't love us anymore. We were little and didn't understand at first. She was loved once again and I thank her for being a wonderful part of my education At Saint Ignatius Elementary School. My condolences to her family. I just read about her passing in the...

My condolences to Mary Ann Colbert's family. I have fond memories of Miss Dwyer, my 3rd grade teacher at St. Ignatius. I think I remember it being her first year teaching, and I will always remember her as one of my favorites. RIP

God bless a safe trip to Heaven. Truly an amazing woman.
Love, Don and Eileen Kenney

PRAYERS TO THE FAMILY.. THE LOULOUDIS FAMILY NICK,ED AND JASON

Coreen, John and Family - I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers & thoughts go out to all the family and friends whom your mother touched! I remember her as such a friendly and cordial neighbor as we were growing up as kids. God Bless! Neal & Christy Dorenkott

I taught at St Ignatius in 1976-'78. Mary Anne was always and always smiling. Her big smile was contagious and she was tireless in helping me-- the new 6 -th grade teacher,--- and in helping kids both as a teacher and Asst Principal. She inspired respect because she knew the value of trust and she spoke truth. Mary Anne made a difference everywhere she went and she'll always be remembered lovingly.

Sorry for the loss of Mrs. Colbert. She was an excellent teacher and a classy woman. I have wonderful memories from my days as a student of her's. Wish there were more teachers like her.

I didn't know it at the time, but she was definitely my best teacher. She brought out my best effort, and I never took any shortcuts in "her" class. She instilled in me my first lesson in having a good work ethic. Ironically my youngest daughter in in college now to become a high school English teacher. I wish I could have introduced them. She is a legend at St. Ignatius. My heart goes out to her, and her family.

Coreen and John, very saddened to hear about your Mom's passing. She was a great lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with you guys. John and Kim Salay
