Mary was a very special person. She always made me feel like I was a special person. It didn´t matter where we were (church, Kroger´s, voting polls etc.) she would be so glad to see me and want to know all that was going on with me. Even when it was apparent that Mary needed help with daily routines, if I saw her out and spoke to her she would light up. She may not have recognized me but she was happy to know someone knew her.
