We are all very sad to hear about Aunt Mary's death. I don't know whether Virginia, my mom, was able to express to you her sadness. It has been very hard for her. She is not able to dial the phone correctly very often. But the three of us were with her when she found out and she sends her sympathy as much as we do. We just wish that we would have been able to be closer to you all. Right now, though we need to see to Mom's needs. She will be moving in a few days to a new assisted living home....

Mom and Jessie and I will miss Mary very much. She was a grand and fun Auntie, and full of personality and life. Jessie said the Halloween we spent with her will be one of her best memories of our trip. We miss everyone and not being with you during these difficult days. Take care of yourselves.
