Not sure what to say?

I loved my Aunt Mary dearly. It came as a surprise to me when I recently found her obituary. From a young age, she made a tremendous impression. She and Uncle John would stop by, usually on Christmas eve, and we all relished those visits. She would honestly critique my poetry and impromptu speeches. My condolences to Uncle John and Rita. I will miss that grand lady.

A fellow classmate of mine from Marillac made me aware of Mrs. Crawford's passing, and I just felt that I wanted to say how much of an impression she made on all of us girls. I will always be so grateful that she shared her biggest passion with us.
To this day before any client meeting or pitch, I am reminded from somewhere deep, that my passion and diction is key!
We will never forget you, Mrs. Crawford!

Aunt Mary, May God hold you in the palm of his hand. Thank you for the times that I've had with you. Uncle John, may God Bless you and Rita for the excellent care Aunt Mary received and your patience with the illness in her later years. The world will be worse off with the loss of our Antique Mary.
Love and safe passage to you.

My sympathy and prayers go out to the Crawford family. I graduated from Marywood in 1964, and greatly enjoyed Mrs. Crawford's speech classes. She was so dynamic and interesting. I remember when a friend and I got a walk on part in "As You Like It." We attended every rehearsal and played our parts "well." After the performances were finished, she told us she wished she had given us bigger parts. It made us feel very good. God bless her for the influence she made on so many students at so many...

Marywood class of 1969, remember the field trip to New York city? The Broadway plays, South Pacific, Man of La Moncha...
Mrs. Crawford molded each and every one of our young lives teaching her speech and drama class in her unique style and class. We will always remember and admire you! God bless you Mrs. Crawford.

Mrs. Crawford was the teacher who had the deepest, most practical, and most continuing impact on my life. Words fail to encompass how great--and great fun!--of a blessing she was. Heartfelt prayers are with you, John, and all of the family.

We had many a great timess doing costumes for Mary during her time at Marillac. She was a great teacheer of theatre, and an inspiration to not only her students but to all who worked with her. John, are prayers are with you. Dorothy & Ingo Schelter. (Beverly Hills, Fl.

Ah, Marywood. "Approach,Stroke, Return", RIP, Mrs,Crawford

So sorry to hear about Mrs. Crawford's passing. she taught me at Marywood-1959-1963. She changed my life. She encouraged to get involved with theatre and open myself up . she was the reason I stayed at Marywood since i was the only one from my grade school to attend. I always felt alone in my freshman year but she made speech and drama a way to open up and fit in! What a classy lady!!! Renee Denicola Boehm
