Mary R. Crosby passed away at home on August 5, 2021 at the age of 83. Called “Duck” by all that knew her, she was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska and after a stint in the US Marine Corps, she married and settled in New Hampshire. She spent the last 25 years of her life on her family’s Alpaca farm in Coventry, Vermont. She was predeceased by her eldest daughter Vicky Jewett, and is survived by Mary and Jim Cobb, Cilla and Steve Kitay and Dana Jewett. She also leaves 6 devoted grandchildren, Nathaniel Jewett, Nicholas Jewett, Rebecca Geragosian, Christina Fletcher, Faith Stenger and Alex Kitay and also 11 great grandchildren and a large extended family. The family would like to extend their enormous gratitude to the amazing group of support people who helped her so much during the last several years of her life.


A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday August, 28 2021 at Mary’s home, 380 Hermanville Road, Coventry, VT. On-line condolences may be made at curtis-britch.com. Mary, Cilla and family your cousin Karen has kept me up to date on your Mom. I have the fondest memories of working with your Mom at the bank. I was one of the three Mary's working in the bookkeeping department. We were half the department so it was quite confusing at times. What I remember most was her pride in her three girls.
