Not sure what to say?

I will always cherish the memories of my time at LSA 67-70 and Mary Anns influence. She helped me tremendously and I still use tricks and techniques she taught me. I will never forget the beaux arts ball in anchorage and she came dressed as a nun " with child". It was obvious she loved what she was doing as a teacher. Mary was a firm but gentle instructor when I was a student at the Louisville School of Art. Always encouraging, always supportive. In later Iife I saw her on several occasions and we always enjoyed reminiscing about those days.

I'll never forget Mary Ann as a teacher and a warm human being. She helped make the Louisville School of Art a warm, exciting place.

The city of Louisville, your family, your former student like me and the world will miss your presence here, Heaven will rejoice! Thank you for changing my life! Rebecca Baldwin, Artist (thanks to you)

We are so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful neighbor and painted beautiful portraits of my sisters which are still hanging on my mom's wall today. Prayers to your family.

I greatly admired Mary Ann. I admired her work. But I admired her as a person even more. She was always kind and generous. Also smart, insightful and amazingly well read. She influenced many people who will remember her with fondness.

I had classes under her at old
Art Center School at UofL in 1961-62. She was a very encouraging teacher. Kept up with her over the years. She is for sure one of the best Kentucky artists. Our artist Community just lost a special lady. Marguerite (Marty) Rice
