Mary Grace Curry

I have known Mary Grace since the early 1970s from my time at LSU and I ultimately worked with her at Jefferson Parish Environmental for a short while in 1980. We had many good times, and I greatly enjoyed her company and humor. She was a superb biologist and there we found many common interests. Though I had not seen her in many years we shared many friends and kept in touch through them. I have a special love for MGC and always will, rest in peace sweet lady.

I would like to say about Miss Mary and Miss Laura is that they where the kindness people that I ever met. They always had a smile on there face and greet you with the love that they had in their heart. It was a pleasure to know the two of them and they will be missed by our family.

Dr. Curry was such a lovely person. She had a zeal for history, particularly of her native Jefferson Parish. May she rest in peace.
