Savannah - Mrs. Mary "Mamie" Cuthbert, 99, entered into eternal rest on Sunday October 29, 2017.
Mrs. Cuthbert leaves to cherish her memories her sons, Richard Cuthbert, Jr., Samuel Cuthbert, Frank Edward Cuthbert; daughters, Flora C. Brown, Mary Ann Cuthbert Lewis, Hattie Cuthbert Reita Bing; sister, Rebecca July; 30 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren, 82 great-great grandchildren, and 2 great-great-great grandchildren.
Public Viewing: 12:00 noon - 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 10, 2017 at Sylvania Funeral Home of Savannah, Inc.
Funeral service for Mrs. Mary Cuthbert will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Bryan Neck Missionary Baptist Church, 16525 GA-144, Richmond Hill, GA 31324.
Mrs. Cuthbert will repose at the church Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service.
Interment: Church Cemetery

Mother Cuthbert, nurse, "our...nurse", we called her. She was very, very special to our...family. Mother Cuthbert was full of wisdom n knowledge. Our family enjoyed talking with her. Mother Cuthbert had a "humble spirit n not a boasting spirit." Memories of Mother Cuthbert will be with us until our...names are called. Mother Cuthbert for a good fight for "99" long....fruitful years.
God said, "come on up n receive your...reward."
