Mary Virginia Daughhetee, 86, of Shell Knob, Mo., formerly of Poplar Bluff died Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Springdale Health and Rehab Center in Springdale, Ark. Mrs. Daughhetee was born March 7, 1925 in Naylor, Mo. She was of the Protestant faith, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Daughhetee enjoyed spending time with her family. In 1940, she was married to James M. Daughhetee. He preceded her in death on Jan. 15, 1996. Survivors include 4 daughters, Peggy Knapp of Shell Knob, Mo., Lelia Cotner of Salem, Mo., Merna Mannon of Bee Bee, Ark. and Donna Stanley of Harviell, Mo.; a son, Michael Daughhetee of Monett, Mo.; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Imagene Thomas of Poplar Bluff and Christine Conkright of Alton, Ill.; and a brother, James E. Mitchener of Mobile, Ala. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel with Rev.
