I met Mary and her family while my girls were attending Ypsilanti High School. I enjoyed working many fall Saturday ,Michigan football concessions to raise money for the Ypsilanti Band Association to which she and her family supported and volunteered for years. I had the pleasure of becoming Band Association president the last year of my youngest daughter's senior year and Mary was always present at the association meetings and a great help on a great deal of the Band projects. I was introduced to Mary through her daughter. Anna is an especially beautiful soul and dear friend. It was clear when I met Mary where all of those admirable qualities came from. May she live on in all of the hearts and lives she touched. My heartfelt sympathies to the Davis family.
