To the family and friends of Mary Demas;

It saddens me when we lose a spouse, child, family member, or even close friends when they fall asleep in death due to an illness or a long terminal disease. When I experienced it with my parents and several siblings it was very, very hard for me but knowing that our Lord Jesus Christ was saddened and grieved for the loss of his closest friend Lazarus is a comfort to us all. Growing up next door to Mary's in-laws, her daughter, Patricia, was my best friend from birth through high school. To this day, Easter is full of memories hunting for eggs in the flower filled backyard. I enjoyed many sleep overs at Mary's home, early Saturday morning practices with the Drum and Bugle Corp, and wonderful memories to last a lifetime! Patricia and I tried to "save" each other when we were little. Patricia you won! I converted from Catholism. Thank you to all!
