O'Neill Funeral Home - Cumberland Obituary

Mary E. Dolan, 88, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully, Monday, September 19, 2016. She was the wife of the late William M. Dolan Jr. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late John and Ellen (Whalen) Mulligan. Mary was a School Teacher in the Woonsocket School Department for many years before retiring in 1989. She is survived by her children, Katherine Sipala and her husband, Michael, Ellen Stegeman and her husband, Robert, and William Dolan III and his wife, Jean, eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Anna Feely, Margaret McNamara, Frances Duff, and Richard Mulligan. The funeral will be held Friday at 9AM from the O’Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Saint John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in Saint Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, MA. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Thursday from 4-7PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Antoine Residence, 10 Rhodes Avenue, North Smithfield, RI, 02896, would be appreciated.

Dear Ellen so sorry to hear you have lost your dear Mother. Losing one's mother is never easy I know from personal history.
I lost my oldest son in June and grief is my life now and I know you are feeling the same. I will certainly add you to my prayers as I have been praying for Bob all along.
