Mary was the last of the great frienships of so many of us. Betty and Bill myself and all the Rylanders. Duke and Mary with the Foster and us in Avalon as the kids would play on the beach and dunes. I remember waiting in the car on a early summer Saturday morning waiting for the Donahues for the trip to New Jersey. Cook outs on the deck in Darien and Duke bringing meats from the Stamford butcher shop.So many good times and memories from an era so long ago.
