Aunt Mary was a remarkable women who had an amazing understanding of faith in God and in the value of family. The time she spent with our family in California left us with great memories of laughter ,songs & comfort. The kids (now adults)still talk a about the Tea Parties with Aunt Mary "Donut "& Grandma!

Mary was the last of a great group of people I have know since I was very young. She, my mother-in-law Elizabeth and Kate always seemed to be going on great adventures traveling all over the country. I will miss her dearly.

Thank you Reenie for such a wonderful tribute to Aunt Mary. She touched all of our lives in many ways. I am so glad I was able to visit with her a few years ago at Mary T.'s when Marilyn and I made a trip to the East Coast. I remeber the weeks she spent with us comfortin and singing songs to my mother in her final days. She was a part of our family's lives during our early years here in California. All of the little kids (not so little any more)called her Aunt Mary "Donuts" and still think...

Reenie's poem does justice to Aunt Mary's wanderlust and love of family. Thanks Reenie. Aunt Mary was truly a woman of great energy and determination. She made the best of every day God gave her. She was the last of the siblings left on earth and has now joined Kate, Billy, Bonnie and Marie and of course Charlie, Phil, Marion, Paul and Jean - what a family group they made!! So the gang is together again in heaven - let the party begin.

Mary, Mary how does your garden grow
with love, laughter and 'cash flow'
A little (?)stubborn, could she be
Of course not, not our Mary!
Missed by all she will surely be
But oh the memories, she has left for you and me.
Meals always had a sweet dessert for sure,
And our love for her will always endure.
The phone calls to check where her car was headed this time-
And if you asked 'How are you?' She would answer 'oh, I'm just fine' -
A'little...
