Mary has been a dear friend since meeting her at the Loyola Rome Center in 1965. She exuded kindness and a sense of adventure as we made our way through Europe with poor Italian, but a desire to see the world. Mary not only saw the world, but made it a better place. I'm very sad to hear of Mary's death. We met when I delivered local newspaper to her family's house on Salt Springs Rd, Syracuse early 1960s. Mary and I went to her Senior Ball at Cathedral Academy and my Senior Ball at Nottingham(where her Uncle Pat was my principal) in 1963. I've never forgotten that Mary came to my mom's wake in 1967.
